The 13th Annual Jim Griffith Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on July 25, 2009
Jim Griffith was a very active and dedicated member of the Downtown Fort Smith Sertoma club and support of the local Fort Smith Community. It is with great honor we hold our major fund raiser for the year in his memory. This will be the thirteenth year for the Jim Griffith memorial golf tournament and this year it was held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Deer Trails Golf Course at Fort Chaffee.
The event will be a four person scramble with prizes for the top teams and a chance to win a 2009 Buick Enclave for a hole-in-one on 17 or $10,000 in cash for a hole-in-one on hole 8. There will also be prizes for the Longest Drive (men's & women's), Longest Put, Straightest Drive, and Closest to the Pin.
Player Fees are $60 per person or $240 per 4-person team. Hole Sponsorship are $150 per hole sponsored. Lunch and beverages are provided. All fees/donations are tax deductable. You can download a sign up form by clicking HERE (PDF document - requires PDF reader to open).
Donations go back to the local community in the
form of sponsorships for hearing aids for individuals, Field and Track
medals for Special Olympics, equipment for the Kistler Center for
Children, Christmas for families, etc. For a list of last years
